Chelsea LaVere and I met just one a year ago and in the last 12 months, we have put on three complete stylized mock-wedding photo shoots ranging from the simplistic “Yellow & Gray” of our first shoot to the Greece-inspired “Mediterranean Mosaic” and finally the more formal and upscale “Ink & Pearl” we kust completed in November. We’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to a Jane Austen themed mega-shoot in the beautiful quaint village of Steyning, England which resulted in an 11-day tour of Europe! Just last night we discussed our next two local stylized shoots scheduled for January and April, and made preparations for a Mediterranean cruise with a finale photo shoot in Venice to take place in September!
It’s been a whirlwind of a year for us and although sometimes we take a step back and wonder “How the heck are we gonna pull this off?” we both know that at the end of the day, the Lord has given us these opportunities and He will continue to see us through and give us each next step. This whole experience has been amazing and unexpected to say the least, but when you allow God to direct your path, guide your decisions, and lead you in the direction He has for your future, the results are pretty spectacular.
This photo was taken just minutes before our photographers arrived at “Ink & Pearl”. Our model was in the final stages of hair and make up, our groom was putting on his tux, and I was having a realization that “Wow, this is my life…”
